Profiles and settings

Open a player’s name in chat or Nearby / Online to view their profile. Your name in the top bar opens your own profile; Settings is beside it.

A profile shows the character’s appearance, race and any details they’ve chosen to share. Adventuring for describes how long the character has existed.

Adventure statistics include travel steps, time played, areas discovered, encounters won and quests completed. Travel steps count successful moves and area changes, including revisits. Time played counts active play. The Tracked from date tells you when tracking began; earlier activity may be missing.

Online status means the player is currently active in the game. A paused player won’t stay online just because messages are arriving. Hidden details appear as hidden, rather than as zero or offline.

In Settings, write up to 280 characters in About. About is plain text; Markdown and HTML aren’t displayed as formatting.

Choose which details to share:

  • Show online status: show your status and include you in the online player list while you’re active.
  • Show current location: show the area you’re in.
  • Show last seen: show roughly when you were last active.
  • Show adventure statistics: show your travel, playtime and other adventure totals.

Choose Save settings to apply your changes. Your email address isn’t shown on your player profile.

Scene style offers Animated or Static. Static keeps the text and direction controls. It doesn’t change travel costs, encounters or rewards.

For Motion, choose Use device preference, Reduced or Full. Your device’s reduced-motion preference is always respected, including when you choose Full.

Under Accessibility, turn on Show navigation buttons, then choose Save settings to keep district and service buttons visible below ShireStone’s scene. You can also choose Show text navigation from the scene to reveal them for that view without changing your saved setting. See ShireStone and rooms for movement and keyboard controls.

Account & security shows your login email and whether it’s verified. Use Change email, Change password or Sign out everywhere as needed. Changing your email doesn’t replace your login address until you’ve confirmed the new one. Password changes, password resets and signing out end your existing game sessions.

Under Account & security, Account emails covers verification links, password resets, security alerts and essential service notices. These emails are required for your account.

Your optional choices are separate:

  • Game updates and news: news about SoulQuest and changes to the game.
  • Marketing and invitations: promotions and invitations to try SoulQuest.

Verify your current email before viewing or changing these choices. Select the emails you want, then choose Save email settings. Clear a choice to stop that category, or clear both to leave the optional email list. Account and security emails stay on. Changing your account email doesn’t transfer your old address’s choices to the new one.

If you previously registered interest using the same verified address, Settings shows those confirmed choices too. The withdrawal link in your original confirmation email leaves the optional list. If saving fails, reload the email choices before trying again.

Use Retry saving settings to retry the same changes, or Reload settings before editing again. If you changed settings in another tab, reload to see the latest choices first.
