Character and equipment

Choose Type 1 or Type 2 under Body Type, then choose Human, Orc, High Elf, Drow, Gnome or Undead under Race. Both body types are available for every race. The creation screen shows each race’s starting stats before you choose.

Race HP Attack Energy
Human 100 10 100
Orc 120 12 90
High Elf 90 10 120
Drow 90 12 110
Gnome 90 9 130
Undead 110 10 100

Base armour is 2. Your starting pack contains a knife (+2 attack), a tunic (+1 armour) and two potions; you begin with 10 gold. Open Character & pack to equip your kit. Equipped gear appears on your character. Your body type, hairstyle and hair colour don’t affect your stats.

Human is the balanced starting point. Orc has more health and attack but less energy. High Elf has more energy and less health; Drow also hits harder. Gnome has the most energy, with lower health and attack. Undead has more health than Human and can rest at the Keep like everyone else.

Choose Inspect on an item to see its effects, equipment slot and pack space. You can open it by touch, mouse or keyboard. Your character summary shows your current attack and armour, including equipped gear. You can equip one weapon and one body item at a time; equipping another item in that slot replaces the previous one.

Your pack holds 20 slots, including equipped items. Each potion stack uses one slot and holds up to 20 potions. A potion costs 5 gold at the Keep and restores up to 25 HP. Drinking at full HP won’t spend a potion. Resting at the Keep is free.

The First Patrol quest item has reserved space, so a full pack won’t prevent you from collecting it.

Names use 3–20 English letters, numbers, spaces or hyphens and begin with a letter. Names already in use or reserved for administrators aren’t available. Each account can have one character and receives one starting kit.
